Love them or hate them, low-rise jeans are officially cool again—and as someone who has been a high-rise jeans devotee for the past 8 years, I’m surprising myself when I say they’re all I want to wear right now!
You see, this season’s iterations are not exactly the same as the pairs I once once wore in the early 2000s (True Religion flares I’m looking at you). The low-slung jeans I want to wear right now, are in fact a little more grown up, ultra wearable, not to mention effortlessly cool. Just one scroll of the chicest girls on Instagram (and the F/W 23 runways) prove it. It’s all about a slouchier silhouette this season that can pair well with longer tops or jackets. Showing off a slither of your midriff is, of course, optional.
