Nike Adds a “University Gold” Dunk High to Its “First Use” Lineup

Created by Carolyn Davidson in 1971, Nike's Swoosh is one of the world's most recognizable logos, and 2021 marks 50 years since it was introduced on our footwear. To commemorate the half-century milestone, the sneaker giant has unveiled an expansive "First Use" pack, featuring several Dunk High variations as well as other silhouettes, like the Air Max 96 II.

The fourth iteration arrives in a "University Gold" colorway, seeing an amber hue dress smooth leather quarters, collars and toe boxes, complemented by caramel suede overlays. Consistent with the earlier releases, the lateral side features an embroidered, outlined Swoosh, while on the medial side, the emblem is filled in entirely. Rounding off the sneaker is its collection-specific imprint, reading "First use June 18, 1971," – a nod to the logo's birthday.

Stay tuned for updates, as the Nike Dunk High "First Use" in "University Gold" is slated to release in the coming months, with a retail price of $110 USD.
