adidas Originals has added yet another creative mind to its collaborative roster, this time partnering with Saudi Arabian designer Arwa Al Banawi to revamp the retro-inspired Forum Low silhouette.

Since launching her eponymous brand in 2015, Al Banawi has been recognized for her unique ability to blend her Middle-Eastern heritage with contemporary streetwear styles, creating androgynous yet feminine pieces for the modern woman. This season, she has taken her talents to the adidas Originals Forum Low sneaker, unveiling a new take on the silhouette that fuses Eastern and Western influences in a celebration of cultures.

Inspired by her spirit animal, the Ibex, Al Banawi drew details from the "Capra" or "mountain goat family" to create the distinctive colorway. Arriving in pastel desert tones, the canvas upper is adorned with suede overlays and the iconic Three Stripes branding is reimagined in soft leather, and is completed with hand-stitched embellishments. The standout feature is undoubtedly the heel cap, which sees the inclusion of traditional Arabic tailoring in its signature red and white woven fabric. The minimal iteration is topped off with gold accents on the branded tongue and heel tabs.

Peep the release and its campaign in the gallery above. The sneaker will release first on May 25 at 6 p.m. GST/10 a.m. EDT, where it will be available on the adidas app in the U.S. and Europe. As for the global launch, customers can find the kicks through the adidas website and at select retailers starting May 28 at 10 a.m. GST/2 a.m. EDT.
