Rosalía and Nike Transform the Air Force 1 Into an Espadrille

Rosalía and Nike have crafted a bold new version of the Air Force 1, transforming the sneaker into an espadrille. The Spanish singer shared a video teasing the collaborative shoe along with images pointing to the inspiration behind it (who knew Salvador Dalí was an espadrille fan?).
The silhouette combines elements of sneakers and sandals. A classic Air Force 1 upper features the paneling and lateral Swoosh endemic to the style, while the midsole is accented with hand-stitched detailing. A pair of extra-long laces tie up the leg, putting a sporty twist on espadrille-inspired detailing.
Rosalía and Nike have yet to announce the release date and price of the Air Force 1 Espadrille, so stay tuned.
