OnlyFans To Ban Sexually Explicit Videos

London-based content subscription service OnlyFans has announced that it will no longer allow users to post sexually explicit content.

"OnlyFans will prohibit the posting of any content containing sexually explicit conduct," an OnlyFans representative told HYPEBEAST. "In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the platform, and to continue to host an inclusive community of creators and fans, we must evolve our content guidelines. Creators will continue to be allowed to post content containing nudity as long as it is consistent with our Acceptable Use Policy,” the statement added.

As requested by its banking partners and payout providers, this change will take effect on October 1. "We will be sharing more details in the coming days and we will actively support and guide our creators through this change in content guidelines," the spokesperson shared.

The platform currently has 130 million users and over two million creators, who have earned a combined total of $5 billion USD from fan subscriptions. In anticipation of the ban, OnlyFans recently launched OFTV, an on-demand streaming service app featuring free pornography content.

You can now download OFTV Android and iOS devices, as well as Apple TV, Roku, FireTV, Android TV and Samsung Smart TVs.
