Back in April, Apple unveiled a lineup of new tech including an updated iPad Pro built with the M1 chip, the company's highest-performing processor. According to reports, the upcoming device is "50 percent faster than the previous-generation iPad Pro," as well as the older Intel Core i9-powered MacBook Pros.

Geekbench 5 released data indicating that the M1 iPad Pro had a multi-core score of 7,284, while the Core i9 16-inch MacBook Pro reached 6,845. In terms of graphics, the M1 iPad Pro is reportedly 71 percent faster than the older iPad Pros with Apple’s A12Z chip.

Apple's M1 iPad Pro is set to officially release on May 21. In case you missed it, the MacBook Air is set to drop in a variety of colorways.
