Beats Taps Melody Ehsani for Limited-Edition Powerbeats Pro

Beats has enlisted the fashion expertise of renowned designer, Melody Ehsani, for a limited-edition take on the brand's signature Powerbeats Pro.

Offering a fresh take on the brand's classic design, the collaboration utilizes Ehsani's bold, tongue-in-cheek aesthetic and well-known script. Customized in a contrasting colorway, the left ear hook comes in navy blue with lime green accents, while the right hook comes in a bright coral with light pink accent. Both earpieces feature the playful phrase "If you can read this, you're too close" in Ehsani's personal handwriting, giving the wearer ultimate control of their personal space.

Designed as a way to "celebrate introspection," according to the brand's press release, the collaboration seeks to encourage consumers to look inwards and tune into themselves. Completing the offering is a striking purple case which is covered in the same Ehsani script, with a message that reads "Package contains immersive teleportation device. Will transport you to otherworldly dimensions. Personal space is needed for most effective results. Vibrate higher."

"Music has been such an integral part of my life and has inspired my designs and my inner work," says Ehsani in a press release. She adds, "I am honored to give the world a new vehicle for creativity and self-expression with this collaboration."

Beats' collaboration with Ehsani comes shortly after the brand collaborated with Kim Kardashian on a three-piece range of wireless earbuds, in subtle skin-colored hues.

The new Powerbeats Pro: Melody Ehsani Special Edition collaboration is available for purchase online at Melody Ehsani's website from November 11.
