Kehlani Announces Release Date For New Album 'Blue Water Road'

Kehlani has confirmed the release date for her latest album Blue Water Road, which is set to arrive April 29. Following the release of tracks "Little Story" and "Altar", the lead single, Kehlani calls the upcoming album “a destination in my mind. I’m giving everyone access. It’s an emotional journey, a sexual journey, and a spiritual journey. To me, the album is like a glass house. It’s light, transparent, and the sun is shining right through it,” she says in a press release.
The music video for "Little Story" boasted intensely cinematic visuals set to the emotional lyrics, “I want you to pick up the pen and write me into the story/You know I love a story, only when you’re the author/Tryna meet you at the altar/Workin’ on bein’ softer,” Given Kehlani’s always impactful lyricism, Blue Water Road is shaping up to be an emotional auditory journey for fans of the singer.
