Earlier today, BTS delivered a speech and performed their latest hit, "Permission to Dance," at the 76th United Nations General Assembly.

Appointed as South Korea's Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture, BTS shared their perspective on today's youth during the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Moment. Prior to their speech, the septet asked their fans through their social channels, "What were the past two years like for you, and what's your world like today?" After receiving stories from all over the world, BTS presented select narratives of the younger generation making an effort to live healthier lives and their take on climate change.

"We think that instead of the 'lost generation,' a more appropriate name would be the 'welcome generation.' Because instead of fearing change, this generation says, 'Welcome!' and keeps forging ahead," they expressed. Following their speech, the group switched things up and performed "Permission to Dance" at the General Assembly Hall and the lobby.
