Tinashe is on every cover chile yet when it comes to her music… the girls hesitate to give her her tens. But, it seems as if she's cracked the social media code 'cause the girls who were once silent, are bopping their hips on TikTok.

Before we dive in, yes the person behind this computer is Black.

Since its April 2024 release, "Nasty" has risen to over 10 million global streams and is now her biggest drop as an independent artist. With cheeky lyrics about her being a "nasty girl," the single has resonated far beyond her audience causing us to wonder: is Tinashe finally about to receive her flowers?

Fans of Tinashe know that she rarely receives mainstream recognition, despite her clear growth and appeal as an artist. From hit singles like "2 On" to features with greats like Future, she's clearly talented, yet rarely included in mainstream conversations. Thankfully, it appears she's still on the rise as "Nasty" has officially become a TikTok dance trend -- which for some reason has become every musician's capital -- marking her continued foray into mainstream.

For longtime fans of the American singer, they're reveling in the moment. "So crazy Tinashe getting mad love off "Nasty" when she been consistently been putting out bangers. A win is a win tho," one wrote. "Nasty is REALLY BECOMING A HIT OMGGGGGGG THIS IS OUR 2 ON TINASHE STANS," said another.

Of course, her viral moment has fans reeling with feature suggestions. Our fav? Tinashe and Gunna for a "Nasty" flip. For those unfamiliar with the Atlanta rapper, Gunna's "NASTY GIRL / ON CAMERA" evokes the same sultry energy. Other fans are hoping she joins forces with fellow female rapper bbymutha.

What do you think? Should Tinashe tap the girls for a "Nasty" feature?
