Kim Petras Shares a Preview of Upcoming '90s-Inspired Collab "Alone" Featuring Nicki Minaj

Kim Petras is giving us the collab we never knew we needed -- a Nicki Minaj feature.

Petras took to Instagram to tease the upcoming single; she shared a video of herself answering a phone as a snippet of the song plays in the background. "Yeah, It's Barbie and it's Kim Petras," Minaj is heard saying in the intro, which samples Alice Deejay's "Better Off Alone," released in 1999.

Petras recently opened up about the impact female artists have had both on pop music and her career, which makes this song even more fitting. "Women in pop music were my only friends in high school," she told Billboard. "They were everything I wanted to be and [gave me] the strength I [needed] to transition and live my life authentically. They gave me the strength to be myself."
