Miley Cyrus Shares a Preview of Upcoming Music Video for New '80s-Inspired Song "River"

Miley Cyrus has shared a teaser of her upcoming music video for "River," the next single from her eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation.

The track features a strong riff and beat, sounding like an '80s pop song. Based on that snippet and her previous single, "Flowers," it seems like Cyrus' new album will have a versatile sound. While "River" and "Flowers" are more pop-leaning, there may be some hip-hop, too.

"Mike Will x Miley Cyrus wave starts back Friday… Sorry for the wait," tweeted producer Mike WiLL Made-It, who previously worked with Cyrus on "23" and Bangerz.

Recently, the Disney Channel alum said Endless Summer Vacation is divided into two different parts -- daytime and nighttime.

She previously said on Instagram, "The AM to me is representing the morning time where there’s a buzz, an energy and there’s a potential of new possibilities, it’s a new day. And in the nighttime, it feels like there’s a slinky, seediness, and kind of a grime but a glamour at the same time. In the evening, it’s a great time for rest, it’s a time to recover or it’s a time to go out and experience kind of the wild side.”

Both the music video for "River" and Endless Summer Vacation drop on Friday, March 10. Check out the preview for "River" below.
