Shakira is not holding back in her new song, "BZRP Music Session #53." The musician is seemingly throwing shade at her ex Gerard Piqué and his girlfriend.

The track is a collaboration with Argentine DJ Bizarrap and some of the lyrics when translated to English are as follows: "You left me the in-laws as my neighbors/ Media outlets at my door and in debt/ You thought you hurt me, but you made me stronger/ Women don't cry anymore, they cash in."

Shakira also seemingly references Pique's new relationship. She sings, "I wish you good luck with my supposed replacement/ I don't even know what happened to you. You are so strange that I can't even distinguish you/ I'm worth two of 22 [year-old]/ You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo/ You traded a Rolex for a Casio."

Shakira and Piqué, who share two sons, split in June 2022 after 11 years together. In September, she spoke with Elle about the breakup, revealing it was "incredibly difficult." She added, "I think that writing music is like going to the shrink, only cheaper. It just helps me process my emotions and make sense of them. And it helps me to heal."
