UPDATE (March 3, 2021): As we anxiously wait for the BLACKPINK member to drop her debut solo album, Rosé has now announced the title of the upcoming release. Simply titled R, the single record is named after the K-pop star herself, symbolizing her first step as a solo artist.

In the third teaser poster revealed earlier today, the musician is seen in front of a purple-lit background, while the album's title is placed at the center. Fans have been looking forward to seeing Rosé's debut, with the preview of her track "GONE" amassing over 45 million views.

Rosé's first-ever solo album R is set to drop at 12 a.m. EST on March 12.

ORIGINAL STORY (March 1, 2021): BLACKPINK member Rosé has confirmed the official date for her solo debut. In two teaser posters, shared on her own Instagram profile as well as YG Entertainment's Twitter account, the K-pop artist reveals that her solo album will release on March 12. One photo shows a blonde-haired Rosé outfitted in a lavender purple dress, while in the other image, shot against a backdrop of burning flames, she is photographed from a distance wearing a floor-sweeping red skirt and some platform boots.

An exciting announcement for fans of the New Zealand-born songstress, the news came exactly a month after Rosé offered BLINKS a sneak preview of her first solo track "GONE," an emotional breakup ballad, during BLACKPINK's virtual concert THE SHOW. In case you missed it, watch the teaser video of the single here.

Stay tuned for any further updates regarding Rosé's solo debut. While you're at it, here's a guide to dressing like the singer.
