Bad Bunny released a new music video for his track "Neverita" off his latest album, Un Verano Sin Ti. The visuals pay tribute to the 90s, most specifically to the Merengue classic "Suavemente" by Elvis Crespo, which he released in 1998.

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, honors the merengue artist by featuring similar backdrops and the same outfits from Crespo's music video. "In honor of the best video of all time," reads a text, which originally appears in Spanish towards the end of the video. Besides "Suavemente," Bad Bunny references other big moments in pop culture, including a viral meme: one of a boy dancing at the club with shades on.

Un Verano Sin Ti, which dropped in May, has received lots of praise for its versatile sound. "The album starts with a lot of energy, a lot of perreo, mambo, dembow, and suddenly there’s a bossa nova," Bad Bunny said during an interview with comedian Chente Ydrach. "It’s like when you go out to party, you’re excited but then you get drunk and sentimental."
