Set to take place next month, this year's 2022 Mercury Prize ceremony will feature an array of performances from some of the U.K.'s biggest artists.

Confirmed to perform on the night are Fergus McCreadie, Gwenno, Jessie Buckley & Bernard Butler, Joy Crookes, Kojey Radical, Nova Twins, Sam Fender, Self Esteem, Wet Leg, Yard Act and Little Simz - each of whom will perform one track from their shortlisted album.

On being nominated, Simz shared that "Sometimes I Might Be Introvert has been shortlisted for the MercuryPrize 22, so grateful. Love to my brother Inflo for always backing it, and pouring love in abundance into the music. And to YOU, the people. Thank you for the continued support on this album."

Harry Styles has confirmed that he won't be attending the ceremony due to his major US tour, however, a filmed live performance is set to be showcased on the night to celebrate his nominated album, Harry's House.

Nominees for this year's awards were first announced back in July, which sees albums like Joy Crookes' Skin, Little Simz's Sometimes I Might Be Introvert and Supernova by Nova Twins on the shortlist.

The 2022 Mercury Prize Awards will take place on September 8 at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
