Madison Beer and Surf Mesa Team Up on Swoon-Worthy Track, "Carried Away"

Madison Beer has linked up with TikTok-viral musician Surf Mesa on a candy-sweet anthem titled "Carried Away." A Valentine's Day treat for music fans, the track is a nostalgic electronic ballad that captures the warm, fuzzy feeling of falling in love with someone. Surf's dreamy synths and tender beats perfectly complements Madison's emotive vocals, as she sings in the instantly memorable chorus: "I love to love, I love all the ways/ I feel so much, I get carried away/ I love to love, I just want to stay/ And get carried away, I get carried away."

In a press release, Madison elaborates on the inspiration for the new single: “When writing songs about love, I’m often drawn to the ups and downs and heartache that can result from a relationship gone bad. It was refreshing to explore the other side of love for ‘Carried Away,’ the excited nerves you get from meeting someone and falling in love for the first time. I’m so grateful to Surf who made the whole process so fun.”
