Camila Cabello released her third solo studio album, Familia, and the third track, "Psychofreak," references her relationship with Fifth Harmony, AKA, Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane and Ally Brooke.

In the song, which features WILLOW, Cabello sings, "Everybody says they miss the old me/ I been on this ride since I was 15 / I don’t blame the girls for how it went down, down."

Additionally, Cabello confirmed "Psychofreak" is indeed about her former group, which formed in 2012; she left 5H in December 2016 to pursue a solo career. "That song is basically about anxiety and all of the different things that have made up, like, my journey with anxiety and starting off really young in the industry," the "Havana" singer recently told Reuters.

Apparently, Cabello still stays in contact with the other group members. She continued, "We have been, like, supportive of each other through, like, DMs and stuff. I’m, like, in a really good place with them."

Back in December 2021, Jauregui also commented on the nature of the group's overall relationship. "I think that we went through too much life s–t together for it to just be a co-worker-ship,” she said during an interview on the Zach Sang Show. "I think that there’s a sisterhood. There’s just this constant love no matter what. But I think we all took our time to heal. And I think that’s the path that we’re on right now. Because a lot of what happened to us wasn’t even us. It was all of the pieces around us."

Familia is available on all music streaming platforms. Watch the music video for "Psychofreak" above.
