Danish Design Brand GUBI Forays Into Outdoor Furniture

Danish design brand GUBI has launched its first outdoor furniture collection dubbed "Bohemian 72."

Reviving Italian designer Gabriella Crespi's original designs from 1972, the range is an ode to the jet-set bohemian lounge lifestyle. Intrigued by stacked sculptural forms and Eastern cultures, the lounge chair, three-seater sofa, ottoman and floor lamp are all crafted from rattan and boast a timeless look. "Crespi’s goal was to create a flexible rattan seating collection that feels equally at home in the city or the country, at the seaside or high on a mountain slope, breaking down the distinctions between interior and exterior wherever it was placed," the brand stated.
