Celebrating Japan's rainy season, Takashi Murakami's pastry shop Tonari no Zingaro is set to release limited-edition cookies. Arriving in the shape of the artist's signature flower characters, the set spotlights hydrangeas – one of the country's popular flowers that bloom in the early summer.

Packaged in a rectangular tin, the Flower Parent and Child’s Hydrangea Cookie Can introduces Tonari no Zingaro's new mint flavor. The cookies, shaped in a parent and child version of the flower character, are seen "having fun while walking, surrounded by hydrangea in the rain," as described by the brand. Additional ingredients included in the 18 different sweets range from butterfly pea and raspberry, to purple yam and white bean paste.

Priced at ¥8,800 JPY (approximately $81 USD) and limited to 100 tins only, the Murakami-designed cookies will be available for pick-up at Tonari no Zingaro's store after making an online reservation on June 4 at 12 p.m. JST. Head to the pastry shop's website for full details on how to get your hands on the dessert.
