Miu Miu Celebrates the Year of the Snake With a New Short Film

Miu Miu is joining in on the Lunar New Year celebrations with the launch of a brand new short film, directed by Shujun Wei.

Featuring Miu Miu brand ambassadors Liu Haocun and Zhao Jinmai, the film transports the viewer to Yi Lau Yi, a Cantonese tea restaurant in Beijing. Capturing the two actors in a magical setting, the film follows the duo as they're entertained by a three-piece band who vanish, leaving the pair to wander through "a fantastical dreamscape" in tribute to the Year of the Snake.

Celebrating joy and optimism, the film showcases Miu Miu's new LNY collection, featuring oversized sweaters, preppy tweeds and jewel-encrusted denim. Signature footwear like Miu Miu ballerinas, kitten heels and New Balance sneakers accessorize the collection, along with glamorous opera gloves and decadent pearl chains.

Elsewhere, new iterations of the Penny, Wander and Arcadie bags make an appearance, paired with logo hoodies, T-shirts and cotton underwear -- all encased in a festive lucky red hue.
