Burberry has announced that it will make a charitable donation to two UK-based organizations in order to help fund programs for young women and girls. In addition to this initiative, the fashion house has released a celebratory film in honor of International Women's Day.

The virtual gathering features London Youth ambassadors and members of the Burberry family. Guests include models Aaron Philip, He Cong, Irina Shayk, Jourdan Dunn, Lea T and Mariacarla Boscono, artist Jazz Grant and June Sarpong OBE, BBC's Director of Creative Diversity, who all talk about modern womanhood, their hopes for the future and more.

In continuation of its support to London Youth, a charity that helps the young people of London, Burberry will allocate funds to the organization to further aid its programs. The second establishment the label is making a donation to is The Prince’s Trust Women Supporting Women initiative, which is dedicated to helping the next generation of women thrive. "Our donation will enable hundreds of women to access virtual speed interviews with employers, online courses to develop employability skills and education support through the Change a Girl’s Life campaign," Burberry said in a statement.

On top of that, the Burberry Foundation has created a separate partnership with London Youth. The duo will provide young people affected by the short- and long-term impacts of COVID-19 with "youth worker costs, mental health support and access to online education tools," as well as ensure "those who are in difficult financial situations have access to nutrition, essential items and safe community spaces."
