Rudy GiulianiDonald Trump's personal lawyer that took the Internet with his "melting" mishap – has come under fire for making a "highly inappropriate" remark regarding professional golfer Michelle Wie West.

Speaking with Steve Bannon on his far-right War Room podcast, Giuliani reminisced a conversation he shared with radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, who died on February 17. "On the green is Michelle Wie, and she is getting ready to putt... Now Michelle Wie is gorgeous. She's six feet. And she has a strange putting stance. She bends all the way over. And her panties show. And the press was going crazy... I said '[Rush], it's not me, it's not you," he jokingly said, finishing off his story by asking: "Is it okay to tell that joke? I'm not sure."

Later on, Wie took to Twitter to share her response to Giuliani's crude story. Although she didn't directly mention the 76-year-old by name, it was clear who the golfer was referring to. "It's unsettling to hear of this highly inappropriate story shared on a podcast by a public figure referencing my 'panties' whilst playing in a charity pro-am. What this person should have remembered from that day was the fact that I shot 64 and beat every male golfer in the field leading our team to victory," she began.

"I shudder thinking that he was smiling to my face and complimenting me on my game while objectifying me and referencing my 'panties' behind my back all day." Wie added: "What should be discussed is the elite skill level that women play at, not what we wear or look like." She further commented: "My putting stance six years ago was designed to improve my putting stats (I ended up winning the U.S. Open that year), NOT as an invitation to look up my skirt."
