Ceremonia's New Dry Shampoo Is Here to Rescue Your Oily Hair
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Tue, 31 Dec 2024 HypebaeCeremonia is ready to make your haircare routine easier in 2025 with the launch of its new Dry Shampoo "con Arrowroot." This non-aerosol formula is designed to be rolled directly onto oily areas of the head, offering 2.8x more usage than traditional aerosol products.
Ceremonia's latest drop stands out from other dry shampoos with its alcohol-free formula while avoiding dreaded white casts. It's also dermatologist-tested, made with 100% post-consumer recycled materials and the packaging is plastic-negative — a first for the brand. Plus, it's travel-friendly, so you can toss it in your carry-on and freshen up wherever you go.
If you're wondering what arrowroot is, let us fill you in. Unlike typical ingredients for hair products like silica or talc, arrowroot is known for being gentle yet highly effective at absorbing oil from the scalp. This means less irritation, fewer inflamed pores and less buildup. Along with arrowroot, the formula also features rice starch to soak up sebum, celery seed to help balance the microbiome of the head and a blend of nourishing Latin American elements like chia seed, cupuaçu butter, murumuru and pequi oil.
"The most common pet peeves that our community associates with dry shampoos are the white cast left behind, scalp itchiness that most dry shampoos create and the environmental concerns of aerosols. Like myself, our community doesn't want to clog their hair follicles just because of the need to refresh roots quickly, nor do they (or I) want to leave the house with white, cakey residue." says founder and CEO of Ceremonia, Babba Rivera.
