Say Hello To Byredo's Latest Launch, "The Lipstick"

Byredo, the universally popular fragrance, home and accessories brand, is launching The Lipstick, a newly formulated lip color, in both a matte and satin finish. Created by Lucia Pica, Byredo's Creative Image and Makeup Partner, The Lipstick is the epitome of visceral experience in makeup form, blending together high color payoff, the ritual of application and a long-lasting product.

Created in twenty shades, ten in the new Satin formulation and ten in the Matte, each wears with intensity and even pigment, providing either a silky smooth or a velvety finish via Rose Flower Extract, the star ingredient in this lipstick. In the multifaceted range, you can find deep neutral shades like "Septembre" or a deep plum like "Ombra."

"When it comes to The Lipstick, it is about the experience of wearing and the imprint you leave on peoples' memories – we imprint by colour, texture and gesture. You can be remembered for the way you carry yourself; being subtle and bold can exist simultaneously. That is as true of colour as of gesture. Here, lipstick becomes a signature in this unspoken language," said Pica in a press statement.

Designed in a silver and gold 'reed' container, the Lipstick was created with everything in mind, including its packaging. It's meant to be refilled — you can also keep it as a talisman or relic of sorts if you'd like.

The Satin and Matte Byredo Lipstick are each retailed at $60 USD and are now on the brand's website.
