Systemarosa, the newly launched football-inspired clothing and accessories brand, has made its foray into the beauty world. In its latest collaboration, co-founders Naomi Accardi and Sam Herzog teamed up with Georgina Hunt, London-based sportswear designer at Palace, for a limited collection of hair accessories, made with up-cycled soccer jerseys, lace and ribbon.

Hunt is the inventor of the "Ultra Scrunchie," a hair tie made from repurposing national soccer jerseys and Premier League jerseys. Accardi and Hunt met while working at Season Zine, the media platform at the intersection of soccer, fashion, lifestyle and community.

Inspired by her work, Systemarosa reached out to Hunt to collaborate and put out a small run of accessories that fit the brand's aesthetic. "It was more experimental than simple scrunchies, especially as our collections are focused on celebrating football as a game rather than specific teams, and we offer almost exclusively non-professional football kits," Accardi said in a statement to Hypebae.

"Georgina came back to us with a beautiful moodboard that included many of the hairstyles Sam usually wears herself and we agreed to let her do her thing. This collection is a celebration of female fandom and the different ways in which it can show up in our wardrobe or you can express your love for sports through style in a feminine way," states Accardi. The beautiful imagery for this campaign depicts the stunning accessories on model Lydia Owens, with hair styled by Kyosuke Tanzawa and photography and direction by James Deacon.

Each unique piece will be sold with a matching soccer jersey on Systemarosa's website, officially launching in September.
