After its winning sculpture installation Tomorrow Land debuted at this year’s Art Basel Miami, Studio Proba has partnered with curators Anava Projects to create and sell two NFTs to support ProjectART, an organization dedicated to supporting and enriching the lives of underserved artists and K-12 students.

Inspired by the immersive physical and virtual playground designed in collaboration with Enjoy The Weather, the vividly saturated work will be transformed into digital art.

“Working physically and virtually at the same time — and at a new scale — is very exciting, and NFTs were a logical next step. Across media though, the goal of Tomorrow Land is consistently to inspire and connect. Access to the arts has been so integral to my own personal and professional development, so I can think of no better partner than ProjectART — an organization dedicated to nurturing the next generation of creatives — to collaborate with,” says Alex Proba, founder of the Portland-based studio.

Premiering on NFT platform OpenSea, the sale of Studio Proba’s digital works will benefit the national arts education non-profit, enabling ProjectArts to accept crucial Ethereum contributions and continue providing free art classes to children in libraries across America.

In addition, a portion of proceeds from the sale of Studio Proba’s virtual works will be donated to plant biodiverse forests in Panama to counteract the environmental impact of the artwork.

“Studio Proba’s Tomorrow Land NFTs are not only one of a kind collectible artworks, they also provide a platform to support important organizations such as ProjectArt. Tomorrow Land harnesses the power of design to spread a little joy and a sense of community at a time when it’s so urgently needed,” adds Anava Projects curators Wava Carpenter and Anna Carnick.

Studio Proba’s Tomorrow Land NFT fundraiser is open today until December 19 on OpenSea’s website.
